Hello!
I'm Zoie Babakitis...
and I currently work as a UX Architect at FCB Health. I graduated from CUNY Hunter College where I earned my degree in psychology. After graduating, I was lucky enough to stumble upon the CUNY TechWorks User Experience Design Training Program where I spent the next 6 months honing my skills in user research methodologies, website and mobile app design, learning all there is to know about design psychology, and dabbling in HTML5/CSS3.
I am passionate about Human-Centered Design and am an advocate for Inclusive Design and Accessibility. I believe that the success of a digital product is not measured by how beautiful it looks, but by how intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly the experience is.
If you were to ask me which phase of the UX Design Process I think is the most important, I would have to say the User Research phase. It is because of these research findings that those of us working and designing in the field of UX are able to gain an empathic understanding of the problems we are trying to solve for.
Some of my skills include creating wireframes and prototypes in Axure RP, Figma, and Adobe XD, comprehensive knowledge of user research initiatives and best practices, and elementary knowledge of coding using HTML5 and CSS3.
Thanks for checking out my work!
